Seniors Fall Prevention
Today (Feb 23, 2017) on CBC radio morning edition, around 8am they were talking about seniors and fall prevention.
The discussed the rate of falls and the importance of doing exercise. The biggest group with less falls were ones who were exercising three times a week.
It is so important for all ages to stay active, with activities that focuses on strengthening, balance, stretching, maintaining bone strength and posture.
The doctor also shared the importance of eating protein to maintain muscles.
