Innovative Wellness is hiring a Business Development, Marketing, Sales  and Promotion Co-Ordinator for the summer

Our ideal candidate is a University or College student with experience in business development, marketing, sales and promotion as well as a passion for helping Innovative Wellness grow in order to help more people in their wellness journey.
Innovative Wellnesses’ goal is to help inspire positive results through strategic initiatives.
We offer a range of services to all ages and abilities. Our services include yoga, mindfulness, meditation, Back Care Basics, BoneFit, Ballroom Basics and BallroomFit in our warm cozy studio as well as we take our services to our clients. Our Lunch and Learns, and Workshops include Shrug off Stress in Seconds, Combating Caregiver Fatigue, and How to Deal with Difficult People.
Innovative Wellness prides itself on being an active member of the community helping to promote health and wellness wherever possible.  We share tools and techniques to  help  individuals alleviate some to the discomforts or symptoms associated with stress, physical and/or mental health challenges.
Tasks and Responsibilities for the Business Development, Marketing, Sales  and Promotion Person:

-Develop a wide range of marketing campaigns to promote Innovative Wellness programs and workshops

-Create new community partnerships within the Wellness, Health Care, Mental Health Community – seniors, schools, wellness centres, etc

-Promote all services and programs

– Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings

-Answer telephone and electronic inquiries and relay messages

-Responsible for all social media and promotions

-Set Up and maintain manual and computerized information filing system

-Greet visitorsCompile data, statistics appropriate for print or electronic media

-Gather research and prepare communication material for internal and external audiences

-Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies and program designed to inform clients and general public of various initiatives

-conduct market research

-assist int he development of a new business plan

-Prepare and/or assist with editing of press releases, articles, bibliographies, speeches, reports

-Website update and redesign

-Assist in designing workshops as needed

-Arrange interviews and news conferences

– Assist in obtaining new clients (yoga, workshops, etc)

-Prepare /assist in creating invoices, press releases, etc

-Maintaining books (Accounts receivable and payable)

-Take photos and videos  that will help Innovative Wellness promote, market and sell

Must have:
-Candidate must provide their own virus free reliable computer with Microsoft Office for the entire length of the contract.
-Candidate must qualify under the Canada Summer Jobs Initiative Criteria
Length of Job/Contract:
170 hours
Work Schedule:
As defined under the Canada Summer Jobs Initiative, our  office time must overlap. Candidate can choose anytime from Monday to Friday 7:30am to 9pm as well as Sunday mornings. Saturdays and Sunday afternoons may be negotiated.
In addition, I am open to various lengths of contract from minimum of five weeks up to eight weeks.
For example the ideal candidate can work 34 hours over five weeks, or 28 hours over six weeks, or 24 hours over seven weeks, 21 hours over eight weeks. For a high performing, experienced  candidates, I would even consider stretching it to 14 hours a week over twelve weeks.
We are seeking someone to start anytime from May 1, 20018.
Contract may wrap up as late as August 24, 2018.
Rate of pay:
$15 per hour, plus free yoga classes, and bonus opportunities

Location:
Innovative Wellness office is located at 262 Casswell Court, Waterloo.
Candidate must be willing to  travel throughout Waterloo Region to promote, and market Innovative Wellness services as needed.
