Too Fit to Fall or Fracture: Exercise Recommendations
Wed Feb 18, 2015 at 11:30am, Tina Ziebart, one of the University of Waterloo researchers shared the new Osteoporosis Canada exercise recommendations.
Participants said the sessions was informative. One participant said now she understands that the balancing part of the chair yoga program will help her maintain her bone density. Another shared he did not know yoga helped with strengthening and this intern helps maintain bone density. Another person shared I really appreciated Tina reminding us about the Spine Sparing, since this is what Jayne always talks about in our yoga class.
