1. Good Posture. Do a posture check by placing one hand on your low back and the other hand on your belly to feel if you are standing or sitting up with a long straight back.
Sitting increases the pressure in your low back by 40% and this increases to 50-80% when you bend forward and increases to 275% if you slouch, bend and lift wight at the same time.
2.?Unload your spine by laying on your back with your legs resting on a chair or pillow). This is unload your spine and was the pressure.
3. Move your spine in 6?directions -?side to side (with proper posture), supported forward bend (i.e. resting child), supported back bend (over a yoga roll), supported reclining spinal twist.
