Why this is important?
In Canada, one in five of our children and teens are living with mental health challenges. Many parents feel alone and unsure how best to care for their children. This often leads to parents feeling stressed and caregiver fatigue.
Parents for children Mental Health education series can help by providing parents with their education series and fabulous resource list.
“Shrug off Stress to Combat Caregiver Fatigue” attendees will learn how to:
i. Shrug off stress in seconds
ii. Combat caregiver fatigue
iii. Apply the latest stress research
iii. Create stress related resilience
iv. Rethink the stress response as helpful
