NOW ?are you enjoying your “now”?
Do you live in the present moment?
Being present in the moment is especially hard during the holidays when their are holiday gatherings, holiday shows, holiday meals, holiday gifts to buy, etc.
However, I I would like to challenge you to take a little time each day to just give yourself permission to just “Be”. Enjoy your life now/in this moment.
Know that the past are merely memories of the “now”and the future are merely thoughts that are arising now also.
One of the goals of yoga is to learn and practice present moment awareness?.to just “be” (in the now) or present. Allow yourself to enjoy your now and let go of all the other stuff.
There is a good video by Sam Harris, an American neuroscientist, author, and philosopher, who shares his concept of the present moment and why it matters to live in the now rather than wait for the “now” of the future?http://www.wimp.com/alwaysnow/
