Tip #2: Breathing
Breathing is a basic human function that we tend to take for granted. In yoga, there are hundreds of different breathing techniques. Some help to calm or down regulate us, while others stimulate our heart rate and up regulate us.
Take 5 is a calming breathing technique that many of my clients have found beneficial especially during times of very high anxiety and panic attacks. This is a mindfulness technique that blends in breathing.
