Learn to say no when a request does not support your goals or is unreasonable, difficult to accomplish in the time allotted or is not something you would enjoy doing. The more you practice saying no the easier it will become to say no. This will help reduce stress levels and help you achieve your goals.

Each one of us has a fire in our heart for something. It?s our goal in life to find it and to keep it lit.I challenge you to dare to dream.

Now try writing your dream down.

“Failure seldom stops you. What stops you is the fear of failure.” – W.J. Slim

Often we tend to focus on what is not working or what is wrong in our lives. Start to celebrate your successes no matter how small and notice how your focus changes to what is working and what is good in your life.

Remember,?

i. “The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem.” ~ Jack Sparrow

ii. “Success isn?t permanent, and failure isn?t fatal” (Mike Ditka) and “Many of life?s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” (Thomas Edison)

An excellent way to motivate yourself to achieve your goals is to write them down, and put them them somewhere you will see them often. One client said she attaches her goals to her bathroom mirror. Others post a vision board up in their main living area.

While writing your goals, keep them SMART – Specific, Achievable, Realistic and Timely (write a time frame on when you would like to complete the goal…remembering to keep it realistic). Also list the supports you will need to be successful in accomplishing your goal.

When setting goals, consider your whole self and well being – this includes your health, physical wellness, mental wellness, spiritual wellness, financial, career, and your relationships.

While creating your goals, remember, you can create something from nothing

If you need ideas, ” scour the world for ideas, prototype invention and find overlooked opportunity” (Jeremy Gutsche, CEO Trend Hunter, ?Sept 2013, writing about the lessons his Dad taught him.)

Begin to take action on one goal. Remember your goals do not need to be done alone, ask for help and ensure the right supports for you are in place to ensure success. As you accomplish one goal, set new goals to keep moving you forward towards optimal fitness and well-being. If you have set backs, no problem, it is all part of learning. Find the supports you need to keep you moving forward.

Life is a great big canvas; throw all the paint on it you can.” – Danny Kaye

As you write down your goals, consider the “Magic Bank”.

The “Magic Bank” asks you to imagine what you would do if you woke up ?with a gift of $86,400 in you bank account each morning. This game has ?two rules: 1. You must spend your gift of $86,400 before the end of the day. Whatever you do not spend you loose (and you cannot save it in the bank) 2.your gift may be taken at any time without warning.

However, it gets better since The “Magic Bank” ?is REALITY!!!!

It is true.

Each morning you awake and receive 86,400 seconds as a gift of life.

How will you spend your 86,400 seconds?

I suggest you consider taking 32,400 seconds towards a goal of 9 hours of sleep. This leaves you with?54,000 wakeful seconds to ensure you do not fall prey what experts call the?collective fatigue syndrome. This just leads to poor mental and physical wellbing.

How will you choose to use your 54,000 seconds today?

Remember, when you go to sleep at night, any remaining time is NOT credited to us.?What we haven’t lived up that day is forever lost.? Yesterday is forever gone.?Each morning the account is refilled, but the bank can dissolve your account at any time… WITHOUT WARNING.?SO, what will YOU do with your 86,400 seconds???Those seconds are worth so much more than the same amount in dollars.?Think about that, and always think of this:?Enjoy every second of your life, because time races by so much quicker than you think.?The past is over, you can’t change it, live for the future!?So take care of yourself, be Happy, Love Deeply and Enjoy Life!??Here’s wishing you a wonderful and beautiful day.? Start spending!!!

Don’t forget “Life moves pretty fast. If you don?t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”?~ Ferris Bueller

?You cannot push anyone up the ladder unless they are willing to climb.? -??Andrew Carnegie

To keep focused on your goals, write them down and post them where you can read them often. The more clear your goals, the easier it will be to accomplish them.

?As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.? ~ John F. Kennedy

Many people are having their energy depleted because they feel they should be doing something that they are not. Eliminate should from your vocabulary and replace it with goals and an action plan to create what you want.
